Stay in the Game
Performance is on every athlete’s mind. While practice is crucial, the repetitive nature of training can lead to injury – and improper biomechanics help repetitive-motion injuries develop more quickly.
True biomechanical analysis comes from a thorough understanding of neuromuscular anatomy and experience in the field. Performance Rehab and Chiropractic provide a detailed biomechanical analysis of one’s gait, swing, stroke or other movements. We also offer treatment and injury-prevention techniques designed around one’s sport or activity, as well as treatment to correct the lengthening and contracting of muscles and other soft tissues.
We specialize in treating Ironman athletes and are often part of the Ironman treatment team at the Active Release Techniques tent at Ironman Wisconsin.
In addition to runners, bikers, and swimmers, we regularly treat powerlifters and weight lifters, golfers, racquetball players, tennis players, baseball players, football players, soccer players and other athletes of all ages.
Athletic injuries that respond well to our highly specialized combination of chiropractic and Active Release Techniques treatment include:
Swimmer’s shoulder and rotator cuff injuries
Golfer’s elbow and tennis elbow
Runner’s knee and IT band syndrome
Shin splints and compartment syndrome
Plantar fasciitis, foot pain and turf toe
Ankle pain and chronic ankle sprains
We also treat many additional athletic issues. If you have a question about a condition you’re suffering from, or wonder if chiropractic and/or Active Release Techniques treatments may help, please contact us.
